xA6.0.3 office2016 Reports not generating in shared folder-- getting error 1004 excel can't acces the file

Hello,

We are having a separate NAS drive to store the published reports in of our project with xA6.0.3 with office 2016.

Problem:Reports are NOT getting generating when we select the NAS share folder path/Any shared folder path--

getting following error#1004 microsoft excel cannot access the file \\NAS\reporttemplates\xxx.xls file name doesnot exist.

But whenver we run the reports selecting the local path drive able to run generate the reports.

Is there any workaround OR is it Shared folder not supports in this version.

Hi!

Probably, the system can not solve the path because it use the "\\" or the DNS doesn't recognize the name of the NAS into its tables.

Could you try mapping the NAS unit into the operating system?

I hope it help you

Best regards
