xA5.0 sp2 and 6.0.3 opc coexistence and controller,VIP firmware upgrade

Hello,

We have upgraded a project from xa5.0 sp2 to xa6.0.3 in parallel by keeping controller talking to both Opc connectivity servers.

Here controller communicating in both system with able to read and ack alarms.

Que:as part of firmware upgrade we upgraded CBM to use latest 6.0.0 hw lib, on trying to intiate online firmware upgrade (9 step method ) it's failing in first step while analysing hw and throwing error report as"controller project configuration and controller configuration different error:0x302?

2.able to download from 5.0 but not able download from 6.0.3 system by keeping old 5.0.2 hw lib?

As per manual old 5.0.2 firmware can talk to newer CBM.

We have a similiar setup we have 5.0 SP2 Running in parallel with 6.0.3. Controllers are running Firmware 5.0 SP2 we can access Data into the 6.0.3 System however we cannot go online in CBM.

Manual Says:

Starting from 800xA 5.0, upgrading to newer versions of Control Builder and/or OPC Server does not require a controller upgrade. Controllers with different firmware versions can coexist in the same network, and newer versions of Control Builder and OPC Server can connect to controllers of older versions (not older than 800xA 5.0)

I would assume the Can Connect to Controllers of Older Versions means CBM can Connect ? Or does this just mean OPC Can Connect and read Data ? We do have the Aspect Server in 5.0 SP2 matching AS in 6.0.3 Ex. Compiler Output.

Error seems to indicate you cannot go Online:

Error 9159: HW Build version for Controller is not supported by Control Builder or Differs between dependent controllers. Cancel going Online.

This relates to Callers Question 2. Why can't we go online in th e6.0.3 System ?

Is it must that we need to have same domain or same service account password ?
