Declare the variable in External Variables tab (same as global variable) in CMT. Then you can fetch the global veriable in the CMT interaction window or CMD editor.

For example: Say you have declared a global variable in the application as, Variable Name = xyz and data type = bool. Declare same variable in 'External Variables' tab on CMT as, Variable Name = xyz and data type = bool.

For Diagram Types in Control Builder M there are no external Variables possible. Use only local Variables and/or communication Variables.

You could as workaround define your own CM or FB type, insert as block in the Diagram and access the Global Variables from there.

i have tried to insert the CM as object but i cant read see the tags in the opc in panel builder 800. However if i use another client i am able to see the tags. Any idea how i can see them in panel builder as well? I noticed that i also can see the tags for the diagram 3(PLC_1.slow) in the panel builder but not the others, for example if i declare a variable in the diagram2. i

You have to declare the Global Variables under the "External Variables" Tab in the CM to access them.
For the Panel Builder, you need to declare "Access Variables" on the Controller Level additionally - this is not related to Global Variables.
