Unable to write fraction value via Input field object, through PLC connect in 800xA 6.0.3

I am trying to enter a setpoint value, which is a fraction via Input field object. The 800xA version is 6.0.3.Every time I enter a fraction value say 2.6, the value after hitting Enter, is rounded off;in this case 3.The rounded off value is written to the PLC tag.

I am using PLC connect to write this value to a tag in AC500 PLC.

I am able to write a fraction value via 800xA 5.1 without any issue and also via an OPC Test client. The Input Field object properties are identical to what has been set in 800xA 5.1.

Data Type:Real

No of Decimals:1

In signal Configuration of Real PLC connect object, Min=0 Max=65535

Has anybody experienced this?. Is this a bug?.If not, then what could be a solution.

Thank you.

> "Min=0 Max=65535"

Seems to imply that you've actually configured this as an integer.

Hello Mr. Rob,

The Input Field object is able to display fraction, when I force a fraction value to the tag via codesys.Hence, I am presuming the range to include fraction part as well.

Update: Issue Resolved

Solution: Deleted the existing PLC Real Signal Type objects and created new ones with different names.

Naming the newly created real data type objects with the old names led to the same problem.Hence, had to use different names.
