Siemens PLC and ABB I/O modules

I'm trying to set communication between Siemens PLC and ABB I/O modules. I have following configuration:
- ABB communication module CI801 SW*1.6
- one digital input module DI810
- one digital output module DO810

I have downloaded from internet 2 GSD files for CI801 module. One is version SW*1.3, and other is SW*1.6. I have imported both to Simatic manager HW library. After I define CPU in hardware with profibus address 2, I add S800/CI801 to the profibus with address 3 (this is also set on module itself). Finaly those two IO module are added to configuration. When I download this configuration to the PLC, on both IO modules Fault lamp is ON, while on CI801 power lamp is ON, and both Tx and Rx are steady yellow. I was trying to set different parameter data for each IO module, but without any result. Can you tell me maybe , if there is anything else that I can try, maybe different GSD file or there is something that I missed.

Thank you

I have used similar configuration. It works however you need to study CI801 io maps manual carefully how to extract IO information from profibus telegram.

Sorry for stupid question. Did you lock S800 IO cards by plastic lock of terminal unit? It is located at right front side of the terminal unit. If plastic lock is in vertical postion IO card is enabled, otherwise IO card does not communicate with CI801.

Don't forget to adjust Power supervision option in settings of DI & DO cards.(usually is off)

Apply +24V to L1+, L2+ and GND to L1-,L2- terminals.

I have a similar condition. My configuration is:

- Siemens CPU 318

- Abb comunication module CI801 SW*1.6

- one digital input module DI810

- one digital output module DO810

I not foud gsd file for SW*1.6version, but only for SW*1.5. Led condition is the same.

Please can help me to download gsd file (this me be is firt step).
