Safeguard power supply (PPM 3.24)

Hi guys,

Does anyone know what is the difference between ABB Safeguard Power Supplies PPM 3.24 DC and PPM 3.24 E?

Thanks in advance!

I guess that you mean PMPE / PMPDC.
From manual 3BNP000499R1 "1.4 Safeguard 400 Series Hardware Units" on page 84(96) I found the following:

The PMPE.... modules can be adjusted between 22-28V DC output.
The PMPDC... modules can be adjusted between 20-28V DC or ±10-14V DC output.

I hope the above might help you.

Best regards

So I suppose they are replaceable? The situation is that on one site there are all PMPEs, and on the other site all PMPDCs. I suppose I can insert PMPDC supply in rack with PMPEs and vice versa?
