SFC StepTimedOut

How is the output from SFC codeblock supposed to work? I thought the output would be set to true automatically when Step.T > MaxStepTime. But that's not working in my code. My code is something like this:

In P1 action for Step 1:

Step1.MaxStepTime := 5s;

In P1 action for Step 2:

Step2.MaxStepTime := 15s;

In logic outside of sequence:

Trip := Sequence.StepTimedOut;

I expected the Trip to be set true for one scan if step 1 or 2 took longer then the time.

What am I missing?

StepTimedOut will be set true only if SequenceName.Check is set to true. Please check this is done or not. This is the parameter that enable step time supervision.

Hope this helps you.

Verify whether Step Elapsed Time command in the Tools menu is enabled in Program/Control Module/FB where SFC is located in (a check mark in the check box before the command).

Set variable SequenceName.Check to True as well.
