PLC high redundancy Ethernet

Hi im going to be using 2x PM573 to do high redundancy. and the i have been told by our rep that to do this we need 2x CM579 (ethenet comication modules) but when i look in the manual (link below) it show that i can use the on board ethernet to run the high renduncy link. is this correct ?

Thanks for the quick response. is it posable to do it without CM557 module. and have all devices connected to the one Ethernet ?

Hi,

Refer this attachment, As per ABB recommandation On board ETH port only for UDP data Exchange.Better You will provide the CM579 module along with the PLC.
