From the screenshot, I dont think this has anything to do with 800xAService password.

OPC server in your 6.x system couldnt find files required to communicate with the controller (these are usually created while a connection is estalished between the controller and OPC Server for the first time). The files required could be present in the OPC Server folder of your 5.x system where this controller ws initially connected. For more information on this, refer to simillar answer from Stefan and screenshots provided.

http://www402.abbext.com/800M-v6-0-Bad-Quality-After-Down...

There are two ways to solve this.

1) Click "Yes" in the pop-up and browse to the required files in the original OPC Server folder of 5.x system. (if the PCs are connected)

2) Use the control builder tools to copy the OPC files from 5.x system and move it to the OPC Server folder of 6.x system. Procedure for doing this is mentioned in the online upgrade manual of 6.x.

Worth noticing: properly made, the domain files from the 5.0 CBM download will carry over to 6.0 and be available for the 6.0 OPC servers.

Improper procedure may prevent the domain files from reaching the destination, e.g. by performing subsequent 5.0 downloads AFTER taking the backup, or by renaming or changing the control project and applications on their way to 6.0.

As part of project we have to upgrade PMS Library, which we have replace the existing control module with new PMS Library modules. What is the way forward for such upgrades ?

I suggest that you talk to the vendor of the PMS library.
