IEC61850 property transfer aspect

Hi All,

I have IEC61850 OPC server as shown in attachment. Few parameters for example like voltage are available in OPC1 & rest all are in OPC2. I can create a faceplate to show all parameters together.

How can TRENDS for these parameters residing in 2 OPC servers can be combined in 1.

how know this is possible by using property transfer aspect.

Can some one plz help oh how to acheive this task or how touse property transfer for IEC.

Thanks

Hi,

Regarding Propert Transfer:

1. Configure Property Transfer Service with Aspect Server as provider.

2. Create the "Property Transfer Definitions" Aspect in the object where you want to move the variable.

3. In Property Transfer Definitions aspect declare as follow:

Target Aspect (Auto Selected when you choose Target Property)

Target Property (Local variable inside object)

Source Expression: (OPC Path) If you wanna read current, for example:

$'[Control Structure]Root/SHP/WA1/SH5720SG1M09A4/LD0/CMMXU1:A.phsA.stVal'

4. Write pull time and enable the connection.

5. Click Apply.

Regarding Trends, as far I know there is no restriction to put variables comming from different OPC in the same Trend aspect.

Best Regards,

Cesar.

Unless properties are needed in another network, Property Transfer can be substituted with Property Translations.

As far as possible, avoid moving OPC items from one server to another.

A translation aspect may publish data on one branch that comes from a completely different branch, without the cost of transfer.

Transfer is really you last option, and unreliable.
