If you have two 800xA systems you need to install Data Provider SW on each system. You only need one Core Server that talks to both Data Providers.

The previous answer is true, you will need Data Provider software installed in one node in each of the 800xA systems. There is however another point that should be made. When a client logs into the SC Server, it will go to ALL 800xA Data Provider nodes it can find and retrieve one SC Client licence from each. Therefore, with a configuration of two 800xA systems, with each system having its own SC entry in CLS, a single client login will absorb two licenses, one from each xA system. As a footnote, this is also the reason you do not configure any single xA system with two nodes running the Data Provider software. It will absorb two licenses for each client login.

Thanks, Geof. I should have pointed that one out. Easy trap to fall in.
Cheers,

Thanks Geof. For this architecture, in server machine is needed a network card for each 800XA system?

That would be the expected configuration since each should have their own TCP/IP unique addressing.

I neglected to ask what versions of 800xA these two systems are configured as.
