How to purge 'future' data on a 800xA connectivity server

Hello,

Because of a time sync failure on or 800xA system we had for a short while (10 minutes) a wrong date/time in our controllers, the date was 10 days ahead! (Instead of 3 august 2017 it was 13 august 2017)

Now we are facing multiple problems. One of them is ‘future’ data logging at our connectivity server (see Attached file))

Question is how can we purge this future data on the connectivity servers?

We are using also an IM server and there we have the possibility of purging ‘future’ data.

Do we have to check more things in the system because of this future data/time ?

We are using the ABB 800xA industrial IT 5.1-4 system

Thanks

For Basic History there exists a not documented method based on the equally not documented AfwApplogViewer.exe tool.

I assume you can absorb basic knowledge about applog from elsewhere here on AKS so I jump to the action directly:

Please contact your regional ABB support staff if you need assistance with purging the data.

Try this deletion if there are only few tags in ur system else do the time sync first and restore the latest basic history backup.

One time o saw one procudure informed by Stefan that explain how to open the tool you need.

1.Start afwapplogviewer as admin user

2. Select historian node and advhthistorysrv.exe

3. Select operations button

4. Select RemoveFuture TimeStamp operation
