How to Get System Time in Control Builder.I am using ABB AC500 E-co

My application required to generate 1sec pulse at 23:59 PM daiy (i.e. 3 sec pulse every dat at mid night.).

I want to use only time. Thanks very much.

you can try to use the function SYS_TIME (available in SysInt_AC500_V10.lib) and then make a comparison with the value you need to examine.

There are two-three ways to Get the System Time.

One below is :

(it will by default take 1970 as current year, you will have to modify it)


This function (see library SysLibRtc.lib) of type DATE_AND_TIME returns the current time which is read from the PC clock.

I'd rather say it reads the internal PLC clock, not the PC one!
