AFAIK digivis500 is discontinued. ABB is now offering Zenon SCADA as its successor. AFAIK the two are completely different products developed by different entities.

If you upgrade from DigiVis 500, the way with the least effort is to upgrade to Freelance 2016. This way you can import your DigiVis 500 project into Freelance and re-use your configuration. Freelance 2016 runs on Win7 and Win10.

Automation Builder and DigiVis (discontinued) are two separate softwares.

In the case of Automation Builder, it's currently in its v2.0. If you want to check the requirements, you can do it on the ABB website, under the documentation for Automation Builder. You can check that out here:

Also, here's a video of how to check for Automation Builder requirements. It's for an older version, but the procedure is the same.

For DigiVis, which is now Freelance Operations 2016, it's recommended to install it on Windows 7 or Professional, SP1, 32 or 64 bits. If you want to use the OPC and Trend Server, you need Windows 2008 Server R1 SP2 32 bit, Windows 2008 Server R2 SP1 64 bit, or Windows Server 2012 R2. Although this is manily for integration with 800xAOperations. You can also check this information on the ABB website

The latest version is Freelance 2016SP1 and it can be installed on Win7 or Win10.
