Conductor NT Version 6.0 - elements missing on faceplates

when we open a faceplate from one of our conductor systems the names on the buttons are missing. also the operator messages are missing. we have to stand alone systems. one of them is not having any issues. we have rebuilt this computer and it still has the same issues. is there a setting that is being missed that would cause some of the elements to be missing.

Hi,

Do you think the button names that are missing are the configurable text data such as logic state descriptors, text selector sets, RMCB text sets etc? Or are they other system text entities not related directly to tags?

If the missing text appears to be the tag related configurable text, try reimporting the configurable text files and then reimporting the tag database again. From memory the database import utility will only process and reconcile configurable text that already exists in the server so importing tags without matching configurable text files can result in missing text fields. You can also check that the text has been imported correctly via Configure text>Indexed text tabs and manually inspecting the configurable text tables. If you don't have the files to hand and the two systems are identical, you can export the files from the working server.

Good luck,

Alan
