Compact HMI 800 5.1 FP-4 Client Connection Problem

Hello Everyone.

We are facing problem during Client Connection in Compact HMI 800 5.1 Version.

When we Connect Client From Configuration wizard. Client will be Connected but in Clien System is in Down condition. So what was problem? may i miss some Step?

above problem accure when we use inbuit port of PC. it is confirge upto 1GBPS speed. but speed seting is Auto nago. and We are using managed ethernet Switch with 100 mbps speed and RSTP protocol Selected as required. also Client and Controller node not detect in RNRP wizard.

But when we conect same with External Ethernet port of PC it will run fine.

we want redundant network so please sugest to resoleve above problem.

in 800xA we didnt find any problem above mantion.

The communication between client and server REQUIRES RNRP, no choice.

If external Ethernet connection works with RNRP ("up" reported in RNRP Monitor on both sides) but not with the built-in I guess that you are using wrong IP or RNRP settings on the internal NIC (read about requirements in System 800xA Network Communication user's guide).

RNRP runs in two modes, implicit or explicit. The former saves configuration work/time but require a 172.1w.x.y/255.255.252.0 network scheme. The latter is more configuration intensive, but support all IP addresses and network masks as long as the resulting node number stays below 500. E.g. 10.20.30.40/255.255.0.0 is NOT node 40 since you must include the whole third byte as part of the node number: 7680 + 40 = 7720 (way above 500). Remember, the mask is defined bit-wise and hence the node number must be calculated in the same way.

The RNRP Fault Tracer might spot the error if you launch it and activate option 1) Search own networks for nodes with errors?
