Application server role feature installation for 800 xA 603 in Windows server 2016

I was installing 800 xa 603 on Windows server 2016 PC which failed while deploying the system with the error "Windows feature Application server failed" (please refer the attached error screenshot).

Microsoft says that this Application server role is deprecated in Win server 2012 r2 and 2016 and asks to install individual features and roles seperately. So my question is What all features and roles should be installed as part of Application server role and How?

Not sure if this error is because 6.0.3 does not officially support Windows Server 2016. This OS version will be supported from which is being released this year, as I heard.

Is your question for Application server role or do you want to install 800xA 6.0.3 on Windows Server 2016.? 800xA 6.0.3 is not supported on Windows Server 2016.

I had not checked the compatibility. So i thought that xa installation failed because of missing Application server role feature installation. Thanks for updating me.

As Ravi stated, 6.0.3 is supported for Win Server 2012 R2, Win 8.1 and Win 10 2015 LTSB Operating systems only

Apart from that there is no need to install any further roles or features separately, each product takes care of it's own dependencies

Follow Prerequisites section mentioned in Getting Started manual in 800xA media.
