Hi

could you explain what you real mean or need? The modules of AI 531 are supplied with a process voltage of 24 V DC, you can use one different 24 V DC from battery surge or UPS, but it's no clear what you mean for "integrity"

If you give us more information, we can help you better

When the PLC Loses power, the configuration is retained(including the parameter settings, range selections, scaling etc).

Signal Integrity: Do you mean loop integrity,as in a PID Loop? Please clarify

The integrity of the connected analog signal.

This could depend on the type of AI device connected. If you are using a "loop powered" instrument, then the instrument is also shut down . If the instrument is externally powered, it continues to function.

4 wire instrument with a chem dosing pump wired in series. Will the dosing pump continue to function if PLC lost power.

As indicated in my first reply, in this case the sensor power supply must be different from that of the PLC and from UPS system.

The Pump will continue, if the sensor is loop powered and if the pump operations /interlocks/set points do not depend on any PLC processing
