AC500 logging of PT's and export of data

I'm doing a very small dairy project with a PM554-ETH and a CP600 panel.

My client would like to log 4-5 PT's while the process is running and afterworth export the data to some external source (Google Sheet or other).

Does any of you have some ideas to a good solution?

Hi,

You can use the Data logging feature of the CP600 HMI to log analog data and export the logged data as a .csv file.

The detailed procedure for configuring Data Logging is described under 'Trends' section of the HMI programming manual, whose download link is provided below.

M0210&LanguageCode=en&DocumentPartId=&Action=Launch

The manual may be for an older version of Panel Builder 600. However, the data logging procedure is similar, if not identical.

Thank you for your kind answer :-)
Do you know of a way to automatically get the data to a more accessible place than the HMI. Maybe exported to google sheets, a cloud service or similar?

Hi.I am not aware of any direct method to collect logged data from the HMI to Cloud.

However, for such requirements we generally rely on an intermediate device to collect real time data from the PLC over modbus or any other supported protocol and transfer this data over wired/wireless medium to a cloud based service. The cloud service provider also provides us with the tools to analyse the data in the form of reports/charts/graphs.

I had commissioned few such devices in solar power plants on behalf of the cloud based data analytics service provider.
